Berkley Technology Underwriters is pleased to welcome James Richardson, AVP, Mid-Atlantic Regional Underwriting Manager, who joined our Eastern Zone on February 21st.

James is a proud graduate of Radford University and comes to BTU after serving in the US Army and working as a training specialist for government contract work. His 10+ years of insurance experience includes managing sales, marketing and underwriting of middle market and large commercial P&C programs, as well as underwriting technology and government clients, including Tech E&O/Cyber coverage.

James lives with his wife, son, and English Bulldog in Alexandria, VA. When he’s not working, he enjoys playing golf, traveling with family, snowboarding, building Legos with his son, and donating time and talent to various veterans’ philanthropies.
